so chablis is 20 km from auxerre, which made it a 40 km return trip though the wheat fields and chardonnay vinyards. this was no problem for dianna’s 7 speed cruiser “charleston” but for me, on my father’s “wolferstan special” one speed named “elegance” (some sort of sick joke that, it’s a decrepid purple thing), [...]
